| A new era of unprecedented collaboration |

In order to provide the best possible services to the nearly one million residents of DuPage County, it is vital that there be cooperation between county and municipal leaders. As Chairman of the County Board, I will usher in a new era of unprecedented collaboration between all levels of local government to make DuPage the most financially stable, most professionally operated, and most transparent county in the United States. In order to achieve these goals, I will take a critical look at county government and eliminate any overlapping services. Keeping in mind what is best for the taxpayers, while streamlining government services, will guide my decision process. As Chairman, I will make it a priority to work with the mayors, presidents, and managers of DuPage municipalities to provide our citizens with the finest, most efficient government possible. I will assemble a team of devoted public servants and qualified professionals to demonstrate a new model of efficient and transparent governance with a “can do” attitude to get the job done. Under my leadership, DuPage County government will become a model not only for Illinois, but for the entire nation. |
