REFORMER WITH RESULTS

croninfamily01

With a proven record of reform in Illinois government, Dan Cronin is ready to take on the challenge of serving as the next DuPage County Board Chairman. His accomplishments in the Illinois Senate over the past 16 years reflect his commitment to taxpayers, children, senior citizens and small business owners. At a time when leadership and vision are needed in public office, Dan Cronin is prepared to lead DuPage County while preserving the quality of life that makes DuPage County a unique place to live and work.

Dan’s role as a reformer has required him to take on special interest groups and elected officials on both sides of the aisle. His legislative achievements earned him a chairmanship of one of the Senate’s most powerful committees, as well as recognition by the Chicago Tribune as “among the best in the Senate.”

  • Current minority chairman and former chairman of the Illinois Senate Education Committee, which oversees every key education issue in the state

  • Sponsor of Senate Bill 2457 to limit contributions to political campaigns in Illinois
